another birthday card

This tri-fold card was made for a pre teen (she is turning 12 on July 6th) She loves bright and fun color so I found this paper in one of my paper packs and thought how perfect this would be. I used it also to make the envelope to match. I used my Cricut Celebrations cartridge for the balloons and used ribbon to make strings for the balloons. I really love these colors together. So fun and perfect for a preteen or even a teenage girl.

1st birthday card

This card is made for my granddaughters 1st birthday. (July 7th) Again the same paper was used so I could make the envelope. I also used my new cricut cartridge celebrations. So far I love this one. It is a tri-fold card which is my favorite card design. It is a simple card type and very easy to make.

Birthday Card #1

Here is a tri fold card I made for an upcoming birthday. I just learned how to make this type of card and let me tell you it is my favorite card type yet. I will be using it a lot. I made the envelope too with the same paper I used in the card so they match. The butterfly was from Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut Cartridge. And I used stickles on the wings. The stamps are from Stampin' UP. (I never remember the names of the stamps kits. sorry) The paper is from one of the many paper packs that my wonderful husband has purchased for me. (he helps feed my paper addiction. LOL)

a 4th of July card

I really didn't take a lot of time making this card. The idea just popped into my head and I was off. I didn't even use my cricut on this one. LOL Shocking I know.

cute little basket

i saw Gina K make this basket on Stamp TV and fell in love with it. So I thought I would give it a try. It was so much easier to make than I thought it was. Hope you enjoy. Have a great day.

Graduation card

This is for a sketch challenge at Posh Designs Scrapbook Store. I had a lot of fun coming up with a design for this. Even though my daughter isn't graduating until 2013, I wanted to do a graduation card and I thought it would be fun to it in her school colors. Orange; Black and White. TFL!!!!

Mostly I used scraps that I had in my scrap bins. My goal is to try to use up most of my scraps for cards and such. I did use my cricut to cut out the graduation cap. I cut it out using Every Day Paper Dolls. The ribbon is I believe from Michael's. (Doing this project I wanted to use black ribbon too but realized I didn't have any. I am going to have to rectify that soon. LOL)

Cards I have made for my beautiful step daughter

I made these cards for my 9 year old stepdaughter , she moved back with her mother in June. I just haven't posted them. Sorry. But here they are. TFL!!!

Happy 4th of July. I used Desinger Calander for the July 4. My dots embossing folder for the blus and I went over it with blue ink. The ribbon I don't have a clue where I got but I love it!
Back to school card was done with devine swirls. (My favorite embossing folder) again went over it with blue ink. I cut out the sentiment from the Designer Calendar cart.
Happy Halloween!! I love this card. I really can't remember which cartridges I used for this one. I believe the Ghost paper is from Debbie Mumm's Harvest & Holiday paper pack. And stickles on the pumpkin
I love how my little Indian Girl came out. I used PDDU
for this one and again the backgroud paper was from Debbie Mumm's Harvest & Holiday paper pack. Stickles were used on her headband and feathers.

This is a 3 1/2" x 7" card. I used stickles on the tree ornaments and the penguins scarf. The snowflake is a MS punch.

A hello kitty head for her birthday card. I used stickles to color in her eyes the same color as my step daughters.
Valentines Day Card using Hello Kitty Greetings. My husbands little 7 old cousin helped me with this one. She picked out the heart and the background paper. It has glitter dots all over it. We used stickles on the wings. So pretty.
Happy St Patrick's day. Using Designers Calendar again. I had to cut 2 in order to get the green shamrock. Then I used the stickles (Can you tell I am addicted to them) on the hat. I am not sure where the paper is from but I have a couple of sheets of it. (it was lose paper)
Easter card, I used the walk in my garden cart for the butterfly. Designer Calendar for the word "Easter" and for "happy" I had to use another cartridge but I really can't remember which one. it was. LOL Sorry. Paper again a single sheet. It has all these beautifully colored Gerber Daisy on it. It is gorgeous.

Mothers. Day Cards

Ok here are the cards I made for our mom's on Mothers day. TFL!!!!!

I made this one with the Wild Card Cartridge for my Cricut.

I love how the next two came out. I cut a 7" card and scored it at 3 1/2". Used my lacey punch from MS. and the flower is cut from Hello Kitty Greetings and I used my Divine Swirls embossing folder for the blue and pink. I also used some stickles on the leaf. So pretty

BBQ invites

Hello to all of my fellow bloggers.... Here is the invitation I made for our upcoming Family & Friends BBQ in July. I used From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge for both the work Barbeque and for the grill. I didn't do a normal card. I just did the "You are invited to" on the front and then on the back did the details. I have a stamp for all the party info. Thank you for looking. Have a great d

update

Things have been really crazy around here for the past week. My 14 year old daughter broke her ankle last Monday during Cheerleading. So we have had ER visits and Orthopedic doctor visits. It was a clean break and it was still aligned so no surgery and no pins. Thank goodness. She is in a cast for at least 6 weeks. We go back next week to check it again. She is still pretty swollen. She is all depressed and frustrated as their Comp is on March 14th and she can't compete. But she will be able to go to support her team. She is so bored and it is so hard to keep her sitting still with her foot up. She is 14 and she is her mothers daughter after all. LOL I do have some pictures on my camera that I have to put on the computer and then I can upload. i just have to find the time to do it.
Hope everyone is having a good week.

My new room

Finally finished organizing my new room. My husband had the best idea yet and that was to switch rooms with my daughter (so she would take the smaller room and I would then have the bigger one.) She was all on board with it. She loves the smaller room and always have. I have so much more room in here. We really took advantage of the vertical space. I still need curtains but that may take a while. I don't sew and I just never know what to pick out. LOL The walls were already purple, my favorite color, so we didn't have to pain but I will need to do some touch ups. Of course I will always be making changes in it but that is the life of a scrapbooker. LOL thank you for looking and have a great day.

Looking in to my room from the door. Isn't it beautiful?

My awesome and amazing husband bought me the slated wall board at a scrapbook store that was going out of business (sad that she went out of business) It was 8'x4' but we cut it down so I can put them around the room. I only have 2 up, still don't know where I will put the rest yet. This one has all my loose pattern pager and my most used tools. (he also bought me all the 12x12 paper trays and the shelves at the same store.

The one straight ahead has all my solid cardstock in order of color.

This is my cricut station as well as my Sizzix Texturz Botique. Love them both so much!!! The bottom 4 drawers on the bins holds all my scraps. 3 colors in each and then each color has its own clear bag. Yes I am an organized freak. I can't work any other way.

We put all my Michael's cubes up on the dresser not only does it make it easier for me to get things but it is less stress on the bottom cubes. All my paper packs are in the middle row on each end. I am so addicted to paper but the funny thing is I don't think I bought one of those paper packs. My husband (did I say how amazing and wonderful he is yet) got them all for me.

the big move.

Ok. so i don't have any projects right now because we switch my studio with my 14 year old daughters room. I needed more space and she wanted a smaller room so that worked out perfectly. Yesterday we did all the switching. (I am too old for all that physical work) But we got her room basically set up, she just has to put a few things away. And when my awesome; amazing husband came home from work he hung my slated walls (that I just got) and then put the 12x12 paper trays up and then we started to organize some more. I have a long way to go but i will get there.
I will have to post some pictures with my kids helping put up the walls. And I promise once my room is done I will post those pictures too. I am so happy and so excited. I don't want to go to work today. I want to go in my room and organize it. My hubby had to drag me out of it last night so we could eat and relax some. LOL

Happy Birthday Fisherman

This is a card I made for one of the kids friends. He loves to fish and hunt but I don't have a hunting guy. (wish EDPD had a hunter for him and my husband) I really like how this came out. I was able to make it in only a half hour. For a masculine card I was shocked how fast I could pull it together. As any of you card makers or scrapbookers out there know how hard it is to come up with the masculine themed items. TFL!! Have a great day!

the outside of the card. i used pop dots to raise the fish up a little. And the little fisherman is made to look like the boy. He has green eyes and red hair.

The inside. The kids helped me come up with the saying. I thought it was pretty smart of them. Nice play on words.

CHS JV poster

I made this poster for my daughters JV cheer squad. I used my Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge for the doll and the basketball and the pennant flag. I also used Alphalicious cartridge for all the lettering. And for the years I used Designer Calendar. I also used some stickles on the Orioles and the years to add a little more fun to it. TFL!!! Have a great day!

The completed poster. I just love how this cam out. And the girls loved it too.

Here is our cute little cheerleader. And yes this is their uniforms. I think they are adorable.

And here is a close up of the pennant.
