another birthday card

This tri-fold card was made for a pre teen (she is turning 12 on July 6th) She loves bright and fun color so I found this paper in one of my paper packs and thought how perfect this would be. I used it also to make the envelope to match. I used my Cricut Celebrations cartridge for the balloons and used ribbon to make strings for the balloons. I really love these colors together. So fun and perfect for a preteen or even a teenage girl.

1st birthday card

This card is made for my granddaughters 1st birthday. (July 7th) Again the same paper was used so I could make the envelope. I also used my new cricut cartridge celebrations. So far I love this one. It is a tri-fold card which is my favorite card design. It is a simple card type and very easy to make.

Birthday Card #1

Here is a tri fold card I made for an upcoming birthday. I just learned how to make this type of card and let me tell you it is my favorite card type yet. I will be using it a lot. I made the envelope too with the same paper I used in the card so they match. The butterfly was from Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut Cartridge. And I used stickles on the wings. The stamps are from Stampin' UP. (I never remember the names of the stamps kits. sorry) The paper is from one of the many paper packs that my wonderful husband has purchased for me. (he helps feed my paper addiction. LOL)

a 4th of July card

I really didn't take a lot of time making this card. The idea just popped into my head and I was off. I didn't even use my cricut on this one. LOL Shocking I know.

cute little basket

i saw Gina K make this basket on Stamp TV and fell in love with it. So I thought I would give it a try. It was so much easier to make than I thought it was. Hope you enjoy. Have a great day.

Graduation card

This is for a sketch challenge at Posh Designs Scrapbook Store. I had a lot of fun coming up with a design for this. Even though my daughter isn't graduating until 2013, I wanted to do a graduation card and I thought it would be fun to it in her school colors. Orange; Black and White. TFL!!!!

Mostly I used scraps that I had in my scrap bins. My goal is to try to use up most of my scraps for cards and such. I did use my cricut to cut out the graduation cap. I cut it out using Every Day Paper Dolls. The ribbon is I believe from Michael's. (Doing this project I wanted to use black ribbon too but realized I didn't have any. I am going to have to rectify that soon. LOL)
